Viewing webinars, presentations, and even our blog posts, one might think that eDOCS DM Dynamic Views and Matter-Centricity are synonymous. They most definitely are not! In this post, we’ll provide some non-law-firm examples and how they relate to Extended Dynamic Views (EDV) technical features.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably familiar with eDOCS DM and the Dynamic Views feature. Just in case though, it’s a feature that allows you to navigate a virtual tree of folders to locate and save documents. The tree is composed of a number of levels which can be related in a parent-child manner (e.g. Client-Project), followed by enumerations (e.g. document type). A folders view is often seen as a simpler way of navigating the content.
