@John - I've had very good luck with the intallation command file I use. The entire client side install is fully automated in a single script.

I am having this exact problem! I have VB scripts that run to "stamp" a document in the footer area with the various data coming out of DM. Now that I have upgraded to 5.3, this doesn't work, and I have concluded that the DOCNUM variable no longer works in 5.3.

This is the data that calls for the certain data...
     objDOCSObjectsDM.GetDocInfo strActiveDocumentFullName, _
     "DOCNUM", out_strValue
     strDocumentNumber = out_strValue

How do I updated my macro to get the DOCNUM data?

Chris -- I've recently set up a client with FileSite 8.5 SP1 Update 3 which was installed on a Win 7 - 64Bit laptop and MS Office 2007. The install MSI recognized the 64Bit OS and installed just fine. You do have to be careful in re-using any custom registry sets as they don't go to the same location as the 32Bit OS.

I'll be doing my first system upgrade for a client that is looking for Office 2010 compatibility next week and another the week following.

FileSite 8.5 SP2 was released in mid October for Office 2010 support. Other than requiring a WorkSite Server 8.5 SP1 backend with corresponding schema updates, I haven't seen any other requirements.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Has anyone got experience getting Autonomy iManage WorkSite to play nicely with Office 2010?

WorkSite 8.5 SP2 was released in mid-October, and in theory supports Office 2010. But a simple install with Office 2010 gave me no integration at all – it behaved just like WorkSite 8.5 (no SP) in terms of errors and lack of integration.

I got the same information last month (October) when I spoke to them. They actually said the same thing about support for Office 2007 when that came came out. I am not sure why it takes so long to get support for the newest Office suite. Perfectlaw has had support for months already, and they are way smaller a shop than Autonomy.

Have you heard anything recently? It is NOW November. I am only frustrated because Office 2010 is really special. It is a fantastic product and worth the upgrade. I want to give my colleagues the power of Office 2010 as soon as possible.

Another question. Have you tried Worksite on 64 bit Windows 7? Do you know if they support it.

Thanks for your post.

The thing I remember most from that time was not the Lusaka Protocol, but the ongoing O. J. Simpson pre-trial events and lead-up to the actual trial in January. There was no end of coverage.

Also, during the trial, right after we moved out of the basement, was the Oklahoma City bombing, during our first beautiful spring in the park side offices.
